2030 FIFA World Cup

It might be 7 years away but the hype is starting to build for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

2030 will mark the 100-year anniversary of the FIFA World Cup and to celebrate this milestone FIFA has decided to spread the tournament out over 3 continents!

How will this work?

• The first 3 matches of the tournament will take place in South America with one match each in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay.
  

• The centenary celebration ceremony will take place in Uruguay's capital, Montevideo, where the first-ever FIFA World Cup took place in 1930.

• After that, the tournament will move over to Europe & Africa where Spain, Portugal and Morocco will co-host the 2030 World Cup.
  

• All 6 of these nations will automatically qualify for the World Cup and will be joined by 42 other nations (from 2026 onwards to World Cup will expand from 32 to 48 countries).
  

• The 2030 World Cup will go from 8 June to 21 July 2030.

World Mental Health Day - 10 October

A week ago was World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to talking about mental health and showing everyone that mental health matters. It's also a day to let people know that it's okay to ask for help, no matter what you're going through.

Although a week has passed I still want to show you this powerful video from Norwich City FC. Definitely worth a watch.

Club Football is back! ⚽️

Technically we’re still in the international break but club football will return to our screens this weekend.

A lot of top matchups this week. Here’s our pick of the bunch:

  • 11th vs 2nd in the English Premier League 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

  • Will Kai Havertz suddenly find form and return to haunt his old club? I think so.
