Transfer Talk

Welcome to Bavaria, Harry Kane.

Bayern Munich broke their own, as well as the Bundesliga’s, transfer record when they paid £100m to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham.
£100m for a 30-year-old striker, what was Bayern thinking? Goals. That’s what. Click here to see some of Kane’s best moments for Spurs over the years.

PSG finally signs another Frenchman 🇫🇷

Standing Ovation

On his 50th birthday today, we salute African football legend Jay-Jay Okocha with our Standing Ovation.

Jay-Jay Okocha

Jay-Jay Okocha. A player so good you have to say his name twice.

When talking about African and Nigerian football one of the first names that come up is Jay-Jay Okocha. He played for the Nigerian National Team from 1993-2006 and was also their captain from 2002-2006. During this time he was chosen as the Nigerian Footballer of the Year on 7 occasions.

Okocha and his Nigerian team stunned the world when Nigeria won the Olympic Football at the 1996 Olympics in the US.

Okocha was the Player of the Tournament and joint Top Goalscorer at the 2004 African Cup of Nations where Nigeria finished 3rd.

Fun fact, he has got a stadium in Nigeria named after him.

Just for fun
